Your documents stay under your control
Your career documents are saved privately in your account.
I start Monday saves your uploaded originals, Master Profile, extracted facts and every generated document version in your private account on our servers, so they are there when you sign in on another device. Your browser keeps a cached copy for speed. You can download PDF and DOCX copies to your own folder. When you ask for AI work, the source, profile and job details that task needs are sent to our AI provider. I start Monday never submits a job application on your behalf.
Private account storage
Original uploads, your Master Profile and every saved document version are stored privately on our servers and restored on any device where you sign in. Downloads are optional copies.
Secure AI processing
Only the content an AI task needs, such as your approved profile facts and the selected job description, is sent to OpenAI or Anthropic. They do not train on it and keep it for no more than 30 days.
Payments protected
Payments are handled by Stripe. Card numbers are never entered into or stored by I start Monday systems.
Account protection
Verified email, secure sign-in, and session controls protect your account. You can sign out of one device or every device at any time.
What is saved and what is processed

- Original resume and portfolio files
- Master Profile drafts and approved snapshots
- Document content and version history, available as DOCX and PDF
- The exact application package versions you submitted
SENT ONLY WHEN NEEDED
- The selected source or approved profile relevant to the specific AI task
- The selected job description text
- Requested document context for that generation; completed results are saved in your account
- No automatic submissions: I start Monday never applies to a job or sends an email on your behalf
Encryption
All data in transit between your device, the app and I start Monday servers is encrypted with TLS. Saved account data and original files are encrypted at rest by our database and storage provider, and Google connection credentials are additionally encrypted by us.
Account and deletion rights
You can request account deletion at any time from Settings, Privacy & Data. We verify the request and complete it within 45 days. Deletion removes your saved career content, original files, generated documents and history. Billing and credit records are kept as the law requires. Copies you downloaded stay on your device.
